Our Certified Emergency Response Specialists deliver the highest quality customer experience available 24/7/365. We are inclusive and with a translation service for over 170+ languages allow callers to communicate in their language of choice in their time of need. As well, our Specialists also provide TTY/TTD and “Text with 911” services for the hearing and speech impaired community.
- Northern911 pioneered VoIP 911 Call Transfer and Emergency Dispatch service in Canada and now is the number one choice of VoIP providers across the nation.
- Seconds count in an emergency: With an 95% average answer time of 3 rings or less you can be sure that Northern911 makes your call a priority.
- Northern911 is the Primary PSAP for many communities across the province. We are also the secondary PSAP and perform fire dispatch in approximately 60 communities.

Northern911 is the largest ULC listed alarm monitoring station in Northern Ontario and monitors all types of alarms (burglary, fire, environmental, etc.) on a sub-contract basis for a number of alarm dealers.

Certifications
Northern911 is internationally recognized and certified by multiple third party organizations for training, infrastructure, and for providing the highest levels of customer service. Our Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (ULC) Listed Central Station has been awarded the Five Diamond Certification by The Monitoring Association (TMA). This assures reliable quality alarm monitoring through proficiency of some of the strictest industry standards. In fact, initial and ongoing training is essential to our mission. Northern911 ensures that our Emergency Response Specialists have the expertise and abilities to meet the demands of emergency situations. It is a job requirement that all 911 Call Takers are certified by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO).
SOC2 Type 1 Certification
