1. General dealer Matrix information. A step-by-step guide to accessing our monitoring software, Matrix.
2. What browsers can the Matrix URL be used with? Matrix can be accessed using Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Do not use Internet Explorer or Edge. The URL can be accessed from any Desktop computer or Smart Phone, including iPhone, Android and Backberry devices.
3. Do I have to purchase a different iPhone or Android app? The DICE Matrix Vivid app is free to download from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store.
4. How to install and use the Matrix Application? To install the DICE Mobile application on the iPhone or Android.
5. How to print a CIS (Client Information Sheet) report? A step-by-step guide to printing a Client Information Sheet (CIS) begins with logging into Matrix.
6. How to put an account on test? Dealers can put an account on test by logging on to Matrix and following the subsequent steps.
7. How to get a list of Customers? Dealers can access our monitoring software, Matrix, to access a list of customer accounts.
8. How to print an all activity or Open/Close Report? First log into Matrix to print or email an ‘All Activity’ or ‘Open/Close’ report.
9. Alarm Types/Event Codes. To view a list of signals currently in the Northern911 monitoring software.
10. How to listen to History Recording? You will notice that there is an audio column in the history. You must expand the alarm details by selecting the plus sign in order to view each call history. Press the play button to listen.
NOTE: the user listening to the recording needs an HTML5 compatible browser. Recent versions of Firefox and Chrome have this capability, among other newer browsers.
11. Insurance Certificates. Did you know that many insurance companies will give your clients a discount of maybe 5% 10% or even 15% if they have an alarm certificate?
